It's a good weekend to review emergency preparedness, right? If you're thinking about what you can do to prepare yourself and your family for a natural or man-made disaster here are some links to posts I wrote last year just at the big earthquake in Chile happened. These posts are filled with lists, links and things to think about to be the most prepared you can be in an emergency.
Be Prepared, Safe & Comfortable (overall preparedness plan)
With family in Japan, Hawaii, many of the Pacific Islands and living near the ocean in California this emergency really got me thinking. Disasters can happen anywhere at anytime. Chances of survival can often be greatly increased with preparedness and familiarity with the appropriate safety measures. Take time to check out what could happen in your area and prepare for those specific possibilities. I hope you'll never need to use this info, but just in case, I hope it's helpful.

Thank you for this important reminder. Is all of your family safe?
Fondly,
Glenda
Your information is good but; perhaps including an evacuation plan and a place to meet-up is a good addition.
